Although I was only at Fanime for one day, actually 5 hours and 2 of those hours were spent in lines to get into the convention ^^;;, I was able to enjoy the dealers room and artist alley where I managed to acquire some swag. There were lots of dealers and artists, you can take a look at the rooms here. The dealers room looked like it consisted mostly of figure sellers that took half the room (they were spread out throughout the whole room), lolita clothing/clothing took 1/4 of the room, and the other 1/4 consisted of people selling Japanese snacks, bags, games, manga, cells, etc. Read on to see all the swag I bought.
Well I took a very long vacation (8 days away from my computer xD) though it felt longer than 8 days ^^. One thing I visited while in California was Fanime in San Jose. I’ve never been to another anime convention besides the local anime convention where I live so this was going to be interesting. It was a different experience being a “con-goer” rather than a “volunteer.” As a volunteer, I would need to keep “moving around to make sure things get done” so just “moving around” was nice. There were lots of different things I noticed while I was there, even if I was only there for five hours total :P.
I finished doing all there is to do at Disneyland (whatever humanly possible ;p) but won’t return home until next week. For I will be going to FanimeCon 2008. Where I will once again be surrounded by otaku, but this time I won’t be working at the convention so I will get to enjoy myself lol. I’ll buy more stuff (my poor bag is already stuffed with stuff ;-;) and take more pics that I will upload next week to show everyone. So until then, I’ll see you around ^^.

There is currently a trojan (if you don’t know what a trojan is, click here) called Downloader-UA.h that has been downloaded by hundreds of thousands of people. They thought they were downloading a music/video file but they were actually downloading a file that tells them to download another file to operate it, that other file was Downloader-UA.h. Take a look here to see a small list of the files that direct you to download the trojan and ways to know that you are installing the trojan. Always make sure to run virus scans, adware scans, spyware scans, and trojan scans as well frequently to make sure you’re not a victim of hackers and spammers.
I so want that coffee table lol. Not only can you put your drinks on it but you can store stuff in it and best of all it’s a gigantic NES controller that works lol. The guy who made it has got to be one of the biggest gaming fans ever ^^, to put your love into the form of a gigantic working controller is sweet. You can find the blog of the man who made this awesome device here. There are other posts at the end of the link that show how he made the controller from scratch. Now only if he would make a giant ps2 controller then I might be interested in making one lol, with rumble of course ;p. A gigantic wii controller and nunchuck might be a bit much ^^;;;.
