Spongebob, kami (god) of the undersea world

The title for the video is Deathsponge Notepants, which is a parody on Death Note for those who don’t know ^^. Spongebob being Light (Raito) and the Flying Dutchman (the green ghost) is Ryuk. This clip shows “Spongebob” deciding to be the person who restores order in the world with the “Dutchman’s” death notebook, originally found at Japanprobe. I thought it was pretty funny so I thought I would share it with you ^^. Spongebob is a popular cartoon here in the US, it centers around a “sponge” (who looks like a dish washing sponge) called Spongebob Squarepants who lives under the sea in a place called Bikini Bottom where many sea creatures live from the maniacal “Plankton” to whales named Pearl. Spongebob is a fry cook for a place called Krusty Krab, where he works with his penny-pinching boss Mr. Krabs and his disgruntled co-worker, Squidward (who looks more like an octopus in my opinion). It’s a comedy show that is a bit childish but it’s actually hilarious at times. Read on for some of the more hilarious moments.

Konata asks for your support

AnimeBlogger.net has always been supportive of new writers all over the world to establish their blog for free. As we continue to expand and include new bloggers to the anime blogosphere, we have reached a point where advertising dollars are not enough to pay for the hosting services.

Hence, we have decided to appeal for donations to cover the taxes and hosting fees of AnimeBlogger.net. The first goal is to raise US$1600 to cover three months of hosting and the taxes applicable to AnimeBlogger.net. When we have secured that amount, we are looking into adding another server in order to accommodate more writers, which is where the second goal comes in. If we reach our second goal of US$2200, we’ll be able to add another server.

Figure collecting and you

Flame Haze Shana

Shana demands you to tell her why you like her, is that a turn-on for you ^^;?

There is something that’s been on my mind when I look at my figures, “Why do I buy them?” ^^. I wonder if those in the figure collecting community or others that have an interest in figures themselves would like to give their own answer to that question. There are many reasons why I’m a collector but I would like to know why others collect them. Is it because of the detail on a figure? A anime character made 3D? A decoration (which is much more interesting than a vase lol ;p) for the home?

Socks are a beautiful thing

Lol, weird title isn’t it? Sorry for the lack of posts as school has been keeping me busy. So I thought I would give you a teaser to my next figure post ^^. Can anyone guess what figure the sock is from? To those who I already talked to about this figure, don’t spoil it for others ;p. Just to let you know, I have a coupon for $5 off a purchase of anything you buy from play-asia as long as you buy a minimum of $50 US. They have dvds, games, figures, plushies, and more. If you or anyone you know wants to get something from them then I can give you the coupon. I don’t plan to order anything for a while and the coupon expires next month. This offer is given to the first person who emails me at raving63@yahoo.com, so act fast ^^.

Tama-chan FTW ^^

Warning: What you are about to read is nothing more than a fan boy’s obsession with a anime character. But since you’re here, why don’t you read on ^^.

I knew Tama-chan was awesome the moment I saw her, but after watching episode 21 she is now one of my top favorite anime characters of all time ^^. Seeing a otaku speak with such confidence in her voice, sugoi. Then seeing Tama’s hair tied in a pigtail fashion, kawaii. Lastly, when Tama shows off her skills in kendo, kakko ii. All of which makes Tama-chan such a lovable character lol, the world needs more Tama-chan’s ^^.

Cute anime girls drawn under 2 minutes

Ok, so technically it wasn’t done in under two minutes but it was pretty cool to watch lol. Amazing that someone can draw like that with just a computer, although that’s how most anime’s are made today. No going back to the yesteryear of hand drawn pictures. I wish I could do either one, that would be really cool. Currently I can draw a anime character, usually a girl ;p, but I always have problems with the face lol, the way I make it always makes the character look “flat” with no life to it. I have photoshop CS2, the software used in the video is Corel Painter, so I might try making a anime character like the video. Originally found at JapanSugoi.
