I hold this to be true, for I wouldn’t feed something to an animal that isn’t made for it or that I can’t eat myself. This is in reference to Sora, from Sketchbook, giving Haa-san (the blue and white cat with navy blue stripes and blue eyes, I love blue ^^) expired food when Sora goes out to feed the neighborhood cats. Giving animals expired food isn’t something one should do, unless the animal has evolved to eat expired food like pigs or vultures. But feeding expired food to a cute neko…nuh uh >_<.

Everyone needs a break now and then, the Sky Girls are no exception. The girls head out with Togo-san to a river bank to fish for trout using the Tomozuri method. The Tomozuri method is basically having a “decoy” trout at the end of you fishing line infiltrate another trouts territory which causes the trout to go into a defensive stance which diverts its attention away from you and then you catch it. So with the almighty green paper (USD), I set out to buy the Bleach game Bleach: The Blade of Fate for the DS. I went to the local Gamestop after work to purchase this and it wasn’t even on the shelves yet lol, I had to ask a Gamestop employee to retrieve one for me ^^. This is what I have to say about the game….

Back when I was younger, life seemed much simpler compared to what it is now. So when I watch Sketchbook, the feeling of life at a simpler time flooded my mind. Enjoying the simple mix of flavors from a bowl of ramen, sketching what I see just for fun, and walking around an area just because I was curious is what I watched and remembered from my past. Slice of life anime’s can do that to a person, but this one depicts life where I could put myself in that position and feel comfortable.
