Imagine a world where demons, called Yoma, can disguise themselves as humans and prey on humans anytime they want. This is a world where only women with silver eyes can detect these demons and kill them, for they have infused their bodies with those of the Yoma which gives them super human strength, speed, dexterity, etc whom humans have dubbed Claymore. But these abilities come with a price, each time Yoma power is used, not only does the users eyes become gold but the user becomes more and more like a Yoma until no shred of humanity is left. A village that has been plagued by a Yoma has called on a Claymore to help them, everyone hears rumors of Claymore and how they become one which strikes fear into the humans that see one. But a boy named Raki shows interest rather than fear as the claymore enters the village. After his brief talk with the Claymore, Raki returns home to find his uncle dead and that his brother is actually the Yoma killing the people of the village. The Yoma was able to take the brothers mind, memories, and shape after he killed the brother which allowed him to stay hidden all this time. As Raki is about to be killed, the Claymore crashes trough the roof of Raki’s home and ends up slicing the Yoma in half. After the Claymore leaves, the village throws Raki out of town due to fear of him becoming a Yoma as well which leaves a wondering Raki out in the desert where he faints. Raki awakens in a inn, apparently taken there by a claymore. Thinking its the same Claymore that helped him, Raki goes out to find her to thank her, only to come upon another Claymore. As the “Claymore” introduces herself as a “Claymore,” Raki remembered his conversation with the first Claymore who told him “Claymore’s don’t call themselves “Claymore”" which turns out to be true as the Claymore turns into a Yoma that uses Raki as a bargaining chip to get the first Claymore to come out and drop her weapon. The Yoma puts its arm right through the mid-section of the Claymore, but is stuck as the they roll down a hill together towards the Claymore’s sword and with a slash of the sword its over. Using the Yoma’s power, the Claymore stiches the bleeding wound. Raki thanks they Claymore for saving his life again, but the Claymore notices that he was thrown out of his village and allows him to travel with her as her cook as she has felt the pain of being alone because of a Yoma. Happy he has someone, he asks the Claymore her name, she responds “Clare.”

Apparently a couple too addicted to “Dungeons and Dragons” -_-;, have been charged with child neglect due to their two babies basically being starved to death. In addition to the starvation (btw they had food but were too busy killing orcs and dragons to feed the kids), their daughter has a mouth infection, dry skin, and severe dehydration; while their son has a infection in his “guy area” (poor guy). The kids are now under foster care after recieving medical treatment. The father gained a $50 k inheritance and spent it on computer equipment and a plasma tv. This is sad, parents are too addicted to their “new toys” to even care for their kids who can’t take care of themselves. I understand playing games is addicting and I myself spend hours on it, but I also know I have my own life to care of including school, hygine, chores, etc. and that there are others around me that I need to give attention to and not be lost in mystical, deadly, bloody realms. People out there, especially those who have people depend on them like their children, siblings, parents, etc., please take care of yourself and others. This is a serious issue that should never happen but it did, if it happens once it could happen again but I don’t want it to. So please balance your life, you can play video games for hours if you want to as long as you know you have responsibility that you act on. Direct article from msnbc.
Well now you can, or close enough anyways. Hakone, Kanagawa of Japan recently had a grand opening of a “Ramen Bath” where you bathe in a tub designed as a ramen bowl with water colored to a light milky brown to look like tonkotsu or pork bone ramen soup, plus pepper is added to give you that o so delicious soup. Although the main attraction to this bath, besides swimming in your own broth is collagen and garlic extract added to the “soup” which supposedly beautifies your skin, a plus for the ladies (thumbs up). Personally I would try it, gives me that feeling of being eaten by a cannibal…I don’t know lol. Japan is known for their uniqueness in aspects of life and this is one of them. Samurai Champloo goes back to the feudal era of Japan when samurai were samurai and the shogunate ruled…but who cares about that lol. Fuu is a orphan that serves tea and dango to all kinds of characters, including spoiled brats with swords. She is on the breaking point with the rude customers when a mean looking guy comes in and asks for water which Fuu refuses to give but he counteroffers with killing the brats for 50 dango but Fuu haggles for 25 but the man refuses. As Fuu delivers tea to the brats, she trips and spills the tea on the son of the leader of the town. For retribution the son wants Fuu’s fingers to be cut off, an underling offers to do it and right when hes about to cut Fuu up, she yells “100 dango” which the mystery cocky man accepts as payment as he starts killing all the underlings. Meanwhile on the other side of town a fight has broke out between a mysterious samurai and hired samurai of the town leader due to the town leaders corrupt attitude to try and kill a man for not giving him enough bribe money. The mysterious samurai kills the other samurai like nothing. The two mystery people end up fighting each other but a fire presumably knocked them out and burned down the tea shop, plus they are captured by the leader and charge them for the death of his son in the fire and the death of his hired guard. The mystery samurai introduce themselves as Mugen and Jin and just as they are about to be executed they fight back and end up killing more then 15 guards as they try to escape. For helping her, Fuu gathers fireworks and throws them into the fray which allows Mugen and Jin to escape. For rescuing the two, Fuu ask them to follow her to find a man who smells of sun flowers if she wins a coin flip which she does and the adventure begins.

Did you ever have feelings for someone but could never say it directly to them, I know that feeling (sigh). Well the same is happening to Itou who likes his “phone charm girl”. A girl that he took a picture of through his phone (a bit creepy lol) while riding the same train, which is supposed to result in the girl liking him as long as he keeps the picture a secret. Unfortunately he only went one day due to a girl named Sekai finding out and started intervening into his love life as well. Later we find out the “phone charm girl” is named Katsura through Sekai who takes the same physical education class as her. Both became friends and we find Sekai messing with Itou including telling Itou that Katsura likes a certain guy and lunch for the three together and Sekai ditching out to leave the two together. This ended up being a good thing as Itou and Katsura talk and get along with each other. With his new boost of confidence Itou tells Katsura his feelings for her the next day at the train station which turned out to be mutual as Katsura revealed to Sekai that Itou was the guy she liked. Itou later tells Sekai that she can ask whatever she wants from him and he would do it as a thank you for introducing him to Katsura, so Sekai surprised Itou with a kiss on the lips which she accepts as payment. As the train door open, Sekai runs through the train door, leaving a confused Itou in his place while confronting her own feelings towards him.

Ever wanted to make doujin’s for a living but don’t know what to expect? Check out the Doujin Work anime for an idea. Osana has just been fired from her job and riding home on her train telling her friend Tsuruyi the details but turns out Tsuruyi fell asleep due to doing “perverted” stuff all night (you know what I’m thinking ;p). Everyone on the train is listening when they hear this and Osana freaks out a bit that she heard it, freaking out more when Tsuruyi asked her to help her and that she will be paid for it. After losing a nights sleep due to “nasty” thoughts, Osana finds her friend again who explains she was making perverted doujin (usually fan made comics of anime/manga characters that are usually ero in nature) depicting rape which is why she was doing “perverted” stuff. Turns out Tsuruyi wanted Osana to help her sell her doujin through her circle “Pantsu Revolution” at Comiket which she agreed to. Osana isn’t used to the “otaku” atmosphere and freaks out when a customer appears when an old friend popped by, Justice (weird name?), who also makes and sells doujin. After some doujin money talk, Osana discovered that if she could make a popular doujin she could make millions in yen, which she will use to not only buy delicious meals but dessert too lol. Osana will now dedicate her life to make money by selling doujin, what a goal lol.
