Yep, pay 1000 yen and you can have a girl slap you. But why do that you ask, when you can get slapped for free by just walking up to a random girl, insult her, and get slapped anyways (possibly a arrest warrant depending on what you say ;P)? Well, you can pay for that service and many others (though not sexual services) at Cute Room located at Akihabara in the comfort and privacy of a room of your choosing including a big sister room, a maid’s room, a classroom, a Japanese room or a Monster Hunter-style room (I don’t even know why someone came up with a Monster Hunter-style room ^^;;).

The infamous Monster Hunter-style room ^^;;

The girls willing to slap you for 1000 yen xD.

Here’s a list of their services:
Play video games (Wii PS3 PSP XBOX DS) (30 minutes 1,000 yen)
Watch a DVD with the girl (30 minutes 1,000 yen)
Play board games or card games (20 minutes 800 yen)
Massage your hand (20 mins 1,200 yen)
Lie on her lap while she cleans your ear (20 mins 1,500 yen, 40 mins 3,000 yen)
Tsundere, dere dere slap (slapped both ways 1,000 yen)
Read a bedtime story (20 mins 1,000 yen)
Take a photo together (1,500 yen)
Handmade candy (2,000 yen)
Get a love letter (1,000 yen)
Get cellphone email from her (photo + message 500 yen for one, 1,200 yen for three)
Looking at you (with email movie 1 time 1000 yen, 2,500 yen for 3 times)
Bromide (300 yen each)
Exchange presents (need to call in advance, 1,500 yen)

I think the “Looking at you” is a pretty funny thing to pay for as well xD. Again, go up to a random girl and say or do something silly and she will definitely look at you ;P). Playing video games with the girl is probably the better bang for your buck though you better finish your game quick when the 30 minutes is nearly up xD.

They are dolls you can order for your wedding that are supposed to “resemble” you and your future spouse. But these “dolls” are actually robots as well that guests can have a small conversation with (as seen in the video above) like how the bride felt when she met her special someone or even a simple hello when it detects a guest around it. The robots also dance if you ask them too.

I’m not quite sure what the cost of the couple but I’m sure it will be pricey. Though it will make a very unique wedding.

Personally it looks a bit scary to me ^^;;. Not something I personally want at my wedding xD.

The newest trailer to come out for the new Final Fantasy XIII game coming out looks pretty awesome. I like how Square Enix is really using the PS3’s capabilities. The CG cutscene part of the trailer looks awesome, the different amount colors and smoothness of everything makes the video look awesome. Game play wise I think it’s pretty cool how angles from all over are used, even 360 degrees at times during the video. They also show timed the moves with the angles really nicely, zooming in and zooming out when it looks like the right time to do it. Overall I’m impressed, impressed enough to go out and buy a PS3 lol. Which is good because I hear the PS3 is dropping in price later this year, though bad because it’s also rumored that Final Fantasy XIII won’t be released in America until next year around April . I look forward to more trailers in the future ^^.

Here are more images of her, there are quite a few sprouting online, google her and you’ll see a bunch ^^.

If you live in Japan and plan to have a baby then you might want to wait until March before you start trying for a baby ^^. According to JapanProbe, starting October 2009, any child born in that month and thereafter will result in their parents getting 420,000 yen (roughly 4,781 USD with the current exchange rate). That isn’t too bad considering that will take care of some of the baby finances for a while, hopefully the money doesn’t go to parents who will gamble it away ^^;;.

The incentive for the Japanese government to give money to parents who conceive a child is due to Japan’s extremely low child birth rate due to the younger generation not wanting to marry until later in age and the cost of living in Japan a bit too much for parents raising a child. Many children that grow up in rural areas leave their hometown to go to more “busy” towns like Tokyo and Osaka where they can party and live life the way that they want to.

Currently the Japanese government is currently giving 350,000 yen (roughly 4009 USD) for every baby born in Japan and will raise that amount to 380,000 yen (roughly 4353 USD) starting January 2009.

The parents could invest their money into this dish washing robot ^^.

Btw, I’ve been absent from the blogging world for a while due to school, work, and life in general. But winter break is coming up so look forward to figure shoots and possibly anime reviews for the upcoming season ^^.
