or at least my life xD, which explains my lack of posts. I’ve been playing Red Alert 3 quite a lot and the result is me thinking of strategy upon strategy to defeat my enemies ^^;;;. As the day’s drew closer to the release of the game all I could think about was if I could play the game on my computer or not lol, it’s not one of the best anymore
. So when I installed the game, which took almost an hour to do due to everything being save on the computer so that I didn’t have to play off the cd, and played it I was relieved ^^;;. I spent about 3 days to complete the game since the day I bought it. I didn’t play the game straight due to work and school but probably would have finished the game in a day if I didn’t lol.
After playing the game I find air units to be much more useful in the game due to their speed to take out anything in mass as well as the ability to move anywhere quicker than land units. I personally like to play as soviets due to the twinblade helicopter’s and MiG Fighter combo. The twinblades fire bullets out of their machine guns that can take out ground troops and take out structures/ground mechanical units with rockets. Since they concentrate on the ground and not the air I have my MiG’s cover them to prevent them from being destroyed in the air. Plus, the ability to build more than one type of building is useful.
Allies are OK, they’re pretty good once the forces are developed enough, especially with athena tanks that call down a great beam of light in the sky and can destroy structures in mere seconds as a group.
The psionic decimator for Japan is the coolest looking super weapon and Yuriko Omega is the coolest commando with her psychic ability she destroys anything in mere seconds, land, sea, air, structures.
I got a pretty sweet poster with this game as well. Tanya (the blonde at the top) always had a spot in my heart lol. Of course she was practically the only female unit in the red alert universe before this game xD.

Ah….R3!!!!!
Great game I do say too!!!!!
Allies are pretty good but I perfer Japan, one, I can get anti air defense early and I can rush with them!!!!!

*raises eyebrow*
@Rin: So you’re a rusher huh xD. That is a good strategy, especially for those who are slow on development.
@Tomoyo: ^^;;;.
Red Alert is a very addictive game. I play at least 5 hours a day with my friends and cousins.
Red Alert 3 is the best strategy game that i have played so far. i like both the Allied and Russian units.
