As a OVA that is ^^. According to the Lucky Star website, it looks like it will be on sale starting September 26, only 3 days away for me ^^;;;. Looks like a BGM CD and a Drama CD will be included as well.
Looks like there will be lots of cosplaying in the OVA, including Kagami dress as Miku ^^, she looks quite cute. Of course, being the fang fan boy I am, I’m hoping for more Misao xD, FANG POWER ^^.

@radiant: Watching the series will give you some background on the characters personality and lifestyle, but like any Lucky Star episode there isn’t a continuing storyline so you can just pick up anywhere and know what’s happening ^^, including the OVA xD.
