Angry loli’s don’t make very good house guests ;p.

Nothing like coming home after a busy week of school and work, even if it is “underground work.” But to come home and find out that you could be a bodyguard for a loli must be nerve wracking considering everything else you must do. But Shinkuro was up to the task, not only to prove himself to Benika but to himself as well.

There are a ton of reviews out there for this anime, check out Anime Blog ga Arimasu for episode reviews, so I’ll just talk about it :P. It actually finished showing last week lol, episode 12, I’m so late ^^;;;.

The anime is a development type of anime where you get deeper and deeper with every episode, especially the latter half.

Initially it starts off with 16 year old Shinkuro who becomes the bodyguard for 7 year old Murasaki. A relationship develops between the two, a brother sister type of relationship. Though it could be percieved as a boyfriend/loli girlfriend type of relationship too some people (note: Shinkuro denies that he’s a loli-lover xD).

Character development….I would say you could see it in many characters; this is most noticeable in Murasaki. She changed from a spoiled little girl whose emotions were closed off to a girl who is willing to express whatever comes to mind. Shinkuro was able to open a bit more as well, emotionally, for he would need to whenever Murasaki was involved xD.

The story is really interesting. It starts off with Murasaki being “taken” from her plutocratic family and be protected by Shinkuro. The story then starts to change pace by moving to Murasaki’s development, mentally that is. For she’s never been outside of the mansion she’s lived in and now must cope with all the different things that happen to her, with Shinkuro as her guide to what is the norm in the world. After a few episodes the story still shows Murasaki developing but with small parts of the main story. A sudden dark turn eventually happens in the story, which involves what Muraski’s family is really about. Any more of that and it will become a spoiler :P. I really enjoy the story, it starts off nice then the turn makes it intriguing and something you want to find out about in the next episode.

My favorite character is Murasaki ^^. Not because she’s a loli but her character is pretty funny in the beginning of the anime. First she’s a spoiled brat then practically a happy go lucky child lol. She still has the “spoiled”mentality but it’s mixed with a child who wants to try everything so what you get is funny situations involving Murasaki xD.

I recommend watching this, though some might not be able to take the “sudden turn” that happens later in the anime. Like I said earlier, the anime is actually finished so you will be able to marathon it; good news for those who like to wait until a anime is finished before watching it ^^.
