I woke up in a daze with my back to the ground As I try to get up I feel a sharp pain on the side of my head which caused me to wince and close my eyes. I slowly started to open my eyes to look around but opened up my eyes as fast as I could when I saw what was before me. Everywhere I looked I could only see green from the tops of pine trees to the blades of grass on the ground, not the usual gray cement from buildings and sidewalks that I passed by practically everyday of my life. Light from the sun managed to pierce its way into the forest through the trees, it was quite warm and made me forget my headache. I managed to get up and exited the forest into a field of tall grass.
“KYAAAAAAHH” I hear behind me and turn around to see a foot flying right at me O_O.
I wake up on the ground with a slight pain in my gut when I turn my head to see something every guy doesn’t mind waking up to.
“Are you alright?” the girl asks me. “Uhhhhh, ya…” is all I can say as I examine the girl from the bottom of her boots to the top of her wings!? “Sorry about earlier, I thought you were a demon trying to come out from the forest ^^, she tells me.
“Where am I?” I ask her. “What?” as she eyes me suspiciously, “You’re in Tusukuru. Are you from around here?” as she starts looking at my clothes. “Ummmm, I can’t remember…” I sayto her just in case I might be killed if I say something wrong. In fact, all I can remember is walking down 123 Fake street in the pouring rain when I saw a brilliant white light, that looked like it came from lightning, surround me and I woke up here. “AHHHHH” she says as her eyes start to light up, ” You’re just like Hakuro!!!” “Who?” I ask out of confusion. “Come with me as I have someone for you to meet ^^.” She grabs my hand and she starts fluttering her wing and we take off to who knows where. “Wait, what’s your name?” I manage to get out of my mouth as I am freaking out. She looks down towards me and says “Kamyu ^-^” with a smiling face.

This is a nice figure that looks good from many angles ^^.
The wings are what really impressed me with the fine detail that goes into making it. The folds on the sleeves of her top is what makes figures so great with that attention to detail. Especially the stretch on her top in the chest area lol ;p, it’s a bit of a b-chiku as well ;p. A bit plain for the clothes but it’s simplicity really accompanies the figure. The pose is nice, makes it look like she’s falling from the sky, indicated by the end of her sash going up. What’s interesting about her that separates her from other figures that are in my collection, though this is technically my brothers ^^, is how she is attached to the base and can’t be removed. There is a attachment to help support her though, probably because the wings would add a little more weight towards the back area that could cause her to lean ever so slightly. I would have liked it if I could take her off the base, I could have more options in how I took pictures of her, o well. She is cute though and I probably would have gotten her if my brother decided it would be his. There are slight scratches but really minor, as with practically all mass produced figures. The ends of the wings are pointy lol, you could actually hurt someone with it ^^. I never watched the anime but I’m going to start now to get to know the character more ^^. Have any of you watched Utawarerumono?

Well, to tell you the truth, I’ve got an female angel fetish (as well as a mermaid one) and this figure is great, except for the pose, which seems a bit awkward each time I see it. If only the legs were to be aligned with the rest of the body I’d love it.
But still, nice dress, cute eyes and smile, big eyes and b-chiku… What’s not to like about this figure? *laughs*

From all the Utawarerumono figure that I’ve seen released so far, none of them have tickled my fancy so I haven’t bought any. The Kamyu here, her face seems rather flat and bland as if there isn’t much emotion in it. Still, the wings do look nice.

Utawarerumono is a pretty nice anime (for me at least)) and you should give it a try soon. I thought it started off pretty well though the ending might not sit too well. But I’m pretty sure after watching it, you’ll be liking Kamyu quite a bit more ^^b

Nah, not really dark angel, but those wings sure have an unusual color… By the way, my all-time favorite angel-like character, namely Princess Nina from Breath of Fire II, has black wings too, for some reason.

@Adun: True, but if you look carefully you would see little red blush marks on the cheek area that adds a bit more to the face and makes up for the blandness.
@Setsuna-san: Darkness usually is referred to evil…maybe I’m evil because I always wear dark clothing muahahaha ^^.
@shino: The wings do take up space but if you have figures that are in a kneeling/sitting position then it is likely they can fit in the space underneath the wings ;p.

Though I like the OP/ED singles.
Those black wings look nice. I prefer them this color than white wings. Not really found of angels, but black is nice for wings IMO ^^;
