Last week I made a poll that asked the question, “If you were stuck on a desert island, who would you want to be stuck with?” Well the results were interesting, especially people saying that they wouldn’t mind being stuck with me lol. The top two picks were Shana and Haruhi. I myself wouldn’t mind being stuck on a desert island with both of them myself lol. But it’s you, the people, who chose the two as your fellow stranded islanders. So I hope you enjoy yourself in between the two girls ^^. I have midterms again….sigh….wish me luck lol.

Being bossed around and mistreated by Haruhi (You’d never be the leader; ask Kyon for details) and be told to shut up by Shana (Urusai!) most of the time would not be my dream.
I say that but I may even change my mind on the latter (Note: I’ve yet to watch Shakugan no Shana; I’m completely into Seirei no Moribito right now… Awesome series by the way).
I’d choose Kagami and Mikuru… I’m more into kind girls, and each of the ones I picked have qualities for effective teamwork. Kagami for ideas for leaving the island and serious daily chit-chat and Mikuru for cooking and keeping things in order. XD
Well, otherwise they are too young for me, as for all females in your poll. Ah well!

°Yuki would seem a nice pick too, but she doesn’t have teleportation powers… Maybe she could power-up a raft and help in leaving the island or be good at hunting/fishing, etc. Still it would “distort the fabric of space and time” in the long term.
Also about trying to have some good daily discussion with Yuki… not really something that would happen. She would be a reliable alternate choice.
°Konata? On an island? She would get crazy without her familiar otaku environment.
°Misao… Well, I don’t know her enough to choose her. I guess you’d choose her though. Fang Power, desho, desho?
As for you my dear AS, it’s a definite no-no. Sorry, I’m not into guys and being stuck with one is not a fantasy of mine. Maybe we could do something as a group though, dunno. I have yet to know more about you before saying anything (no offense!).

Setsuna-san, indeed, those were my reasons and they really are subjective. Every taste is in nature and this is essential in terms of diversity (which this world needs to accept more). It would also be boring and a great source of conflicts if everybody would have the same choices, right?

AS, I just associated desert island with survival, so yes, you make a good point there.
If I were to be really serious, I guess I’d begin by planning schedules for essential daily activities (insert “lol” here).
By the way, I understand why people get and remain fond of Shana, and I am becoming one of them. I’d replace Mikuru for her any day of the week. Watched the first eight episodes of Shaku today and I truly love this series.
Oh, by the way, I also like Yin from Darker than Black a lot. Just a random line here.
