Another anime review. Here’s another remade review, this time on Azumanga Daioh. Honestly, this is one of my favorite animes of all time, Azumanga Daioh. I think the fact that there is a lack of the violence, perversion, and more towards comedy rather than story line is what I like about it. Basically its about a small group of high schoolers, including 11 year old genius Chiyo-chan, taller than average Japanese girl with natural athletic abilities and quite a above average and natural ummm… upper body (;P) Sakaki, a very wispy Osaka who daydreams in class more than she should, the spunky and energetic Tomo, her counter part in comedy the serious Yomi, very athletic and tan Kagura, crazy English teacher that shouldn’t drive Yukara, the cool P.E. teacher Nyamo, and more that make this show great. The basic plot is about the high school girls going through life in high school, which is actually only three years in Japan compared to the four in the U.S., and are usually involved in a very comedic way.
This is one of the best interpretations of high school life that doesn’t bend reality. This is an A rating anime that I recommend watching over and over again.

Tomo’s counterpart, Yomi, she always takes Tomo’s energy and comedic ways with a nice punch or some sarcastic tone

The very tan Kagura, it’s because she’s on the tsuei teamu (swim team)
The very ummm…stalker of Sakaki, Karin, but who doesn’t want Sakaki lol
The very athletic gym teacher, Nyamo, I love that more than her real name, Minamo
The crazy driving English teacher Yukari, shes full of energy at least. She and Tomo actually have a lot in common, especially the love of risking your life in the car.
This is the car of Yukari’s dad as a result of Yukari, very kowai. I feel sorry for him with the high insurance he pays with Yukari behind the wheel. Maybe he doesn’t pay insurance, might be better.
I feel more sorry for Chiyo who is now mentally scarred by Yukari’s driving, though luckily only when Yukari’s driving is mentioned
Tomo, Kagura, and Osaka form the bokarasu brigade (idiot brigade) as they have the three lowest scores among those mentioned above
Crazy Osaka lol, she wanted to wake Yukari up by banging on a pan, I don’t know why she brought a cutting knife.
One of the most kawaii things in this anime is Chiyo dressing up in a penguin outfit for the cultural festival…”kawaii”-whole group of Azumanga Daioh
Looks like a cute anime. Dont like the music though.
Lol, ya its one of those cute animes. Hmmm, the opening theme isn’t that great and the music throughout the show isn’t half bad. I like the end theme song though, raspberry heaven.
Oh man that knife scene with Osaka was brilliant. Azu in general is made of lulz, have you read the manga?
Lol, ya the knife scene was one of the best. I have read the manga and own all four ^-^, which I personally thought was pretty well done. I like how the manga goes a bit more into detail and lets me understand certain parts of the anime that didn’t make sense to me due to no dialog present about the situation. Like how the Yukari’s car belongs to her dad that I didn’t know until I read the manga.
